WHO WE ARE
Neither Mark or Megan come from farming families. Determination and a lot of hard work has gotten them to this point and they are very proud to share their piece of paradise with you. Whether it's through riding lessons or farm fresh eggs at their roadside stand. Everything they do is done with love.
Sitting on 5 acres in the small town of Columbus we are within minutes of Route 206, Route 130 and the NJ turnpike.
MEET THE TRAINER
MEGAN
It all started when I was little, hearing bedtime stories from my dad about a girl and her horses. From there my obsession grew. I had my first lesson at 8 years of age and have been riding ever since. I have experience riding in disciplines such as hunter jumpers, dressage, western pleasure, ranching riding, barrel racing and western dressage.
I find the most joy out of training horses from the ground up. I love trying new training techniques and watching a horse grow. Mustangs are my new passion and I hope to be able start a training program for them soon.
Today I am proud to say I have my own piece of paradise where I live with my husband, Mark and son, Weston. Together we run this 5 acre farm in Columbus, NJ.
My hope is that I can help other horse crazy kids find their passion and keep this sport alive for many years to come.
Sporty
2007 APHA gelding. Sporty has been with Megan since 2009 and has been trained to do a little of everything. He's the perfect step up horse and is used for the majority of our students who have graduated from Layla.
